As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, retired Austin Police Officer, and Leander City Councilmember, he’s delivered steady leadership through crisis, collaboration, and growth. A resident of Williamson County for more than 28 years, he’s ready to bring that same commitment to the role of County Commissioner.

With more than 31 years in public safety and hands-on experience in emergency response, infrastructure planning, and regional coordination, David has a proven track record of stepping up when it matters most. He’s helped lead during floods, wildfires, and winter storms—and worked every day to make roads safer, strengthen public safety, and support local businesses. His service reflects a deep-rooted dedication to practical solutions and responsive leadership that puts the needs of our residents first.
